It is interesting that in the COMFORT-I trial they reported that using the same criteria for transfusion independence (IWG-MRT) that YM reports with, that 46.9% of their patients on the placebo arm become transfusion independent. Based on this, until I see YM reporting their rate next to placebo or therapeutic alternatives, I gonna remain a little skeptical of their claims.
