Dear David,

I was curious to contact you concerning my voting ballots for the Plan of Reorganization for WMI POR7 which asks for shareholder votes on both approval of the plan of reorganization, and for releases given by shareholders.

I have not yet received any information from my broker, ETrade, concerning when my ballots will be mailed to me; and with a deadline of February 9th, I would very much like to receive the balloting materials ASAP. I do not wish to have my share conversion to the NEWCO nullified because of a snafu in receiving my voting ballots.

Currently, I hold XXXX shares of WAMPQ only - "P" Preferred shares. (Although between now and the deadline for receipt of ballots - Feb 9th - I may be picking up more shares.)

Could you please:


1. If appropriate, send me, by mail, the official voting ballot materials for the shares I hold in WAMPQ, along with instructions as to whom my ballots should be returned?

2. Advise me as to how I would record any additional shares acquired by me -- whether WAMUQ, WAMKQ, or WAMPQ -- after I receive the balloting materials, but before the deadline for their return?

Dion,

The brokers and their vendors are just completing the mailing – you should have your packages by the end of next week. Do not, under any circumstances, send any of your ballots directly to KCC. They must be processed by E*Trade, or they will not be counted.
