You are, IMHO, very wrong. Pure spider silk is not the goal, true. But it is a very important milestone. In fact,it is the most important milestone of all and by a very wide margin, for a number of reasons:

1) it is what the materials industry has very long considered bo be on of the "holy grails" of materials research. For that reason alone, the suggestion that it would not move the share price upward is one of the most absurd suggestions I've seen in a very long time.

2) it would be, in addition to a valuable product on its own right, a proof of concept of the platform worm which itself is far more valuable than merely spider silk

2) it is a very clear demonstration that the zinc fingers work and that they will give KBLB the ability to modify the silkworm genome rapidly, inexpensively and effectively however it choose to. (which is really another way of stating #2, so the second "2" was not a typo.

2) (again a restatement) It proves beeyond all shadow of a doubt that the fundamental concept of what KBLB is based on is sound: that the silkworm is a very effective means of producing a whole range of technical fibers very inexpensively and routinely.

Your apparent implication that only something directly related to sales in the very near term will move the share price leads me to conclude that you have virtually no experience in investing in biotechnology companies as the industry is littered with examples of biotechs that have no prospects of sales for years (whereas KBLB could have sales within a few months) yet experienced increases in SP of multiples based on news that geve strong indications of potential for sales. In fact, such SP increases on such news not involving immediate sales is one of the most fundamental aspects of biotechs.

I would strongly suggest that you just watch and learn for awhile.

As for your claim that "Kim clearly stated ... kraig labs does NOT have the capabilities to move this technology to production levels." IMCO that is completely irrelevant and misleading.

Many companies do not produce their products themselves. Some even go so far as to just license out the IP and make all their money that way and that includes some of the most successful and largest earning companies around.

KBLB very wisely, IMHO, intends to focus its efforts on developing the technology. Otherwise, because the potential is so vast, it would rapidly become so overextended that it could develop only a small part of the potential.

Why you apparently see some sort of "problem" there is completely beyond me.

You could not possibly, IMHO, be more wrong! Pure spider silk IMHO would result in a SP of a minimum of 40 cents (and probably considerably more) within a day (very likely with a gap up that would never be closed barring any unrelated very severe problem.

There are exceedingly few examples in biotech of news with such strong potential for a sharp, strong and lasting increase in share price.
