13 month results with an initial $60,000 swing trading margin account (this only works with a margin account). The first month, we have six individual $10,000 swing trades (this can vary based on margin), but we have to start with a good entry point. Each month we will recapitalize the swing trading account and then re-split that into six even trades, and so on.. This is a no emotion strategy, sell on 8% profits, and sell on 10% loss, no exceptions. We did not consider any of our lotto play insiders (anything under $1.00). Insider and I did not follow this strategy, as we use a lot of charting in our entry / exit decisions; however, this system detailed below is a straight, buy on the call, set an 8% sell and a 10% loss and never deviating from this under any circumstance.
A quick summation to save the reader from reading through each month of trades: A margin trading account with $60,000 starting on 03/01/10 spit into six even swing trades of $10,000 each, recapitalized each month, would have yeilded a 109% return ($125,322 balance) on your money over a 13 month time, with no emotion, no charting skills, no knowledge of each individual stocks, etc. Pretty simple, and the power of insider trading.
