MISSION STATEMENT:
We believe it can be difficult to discover new stock investment opportunities. Our goal is to provide you opportunities that are non-biased and non-emotional.
We do NOT recommend you purchase or sell any of the stocks we report.
We are not pushing stocks for any company and are not paid by any company to promote them.
We are sick of the "pump-n-dumps" on the board, and want to help by providing real information about real companies. See results below.
We will only post micro-cap insider purchases that look to have positive potential based on our own personal investing criteria.
We will post the insider information "stocks" as they come across our software matrix, this could be one or two a day or one or two a week. This depends on the frequency of insider buys. Some times it is slow, and sometimes there are many!!
WHY INSIDER BUYING IS POSITIVE:
Insiders purchase stock because they believe the stock price will rise and that they will make money. They have knowledge about the health of their company that isn't represented in forms and filings. This is not new news to most of you; nor is that fact that very often when insider buying is discovered, more people follow and the stock price goes up. The key is to follow the insider and get your purchase in before others drive up the price. At this point you have three options:
- Sell quickly after the "wave" finishes.
- Keep the stock for long term in belief that this is just the start.
- Do nothing.
The great thing with our investing strategy, is the downside is minimal (comparitively speaking) as typical insiders do not put down their own money if the stock is a scam, etc. Obviously, this is not a "quick / day trade strategy" but rather a short term to long term trading strategy.
HOW DO WE GET OUR REAL TIME DATA:
We have developed software that scans for significant insider purchases as they are filed on the SEC database. We considered significant $100,000 or more. We currently sell subscriptions to our software: www.scumfish.com However, we are in the process of developing a BETA version of this software that is more aimed towards micro-cap, and smaller insider purchases of stocks between $1.50 and $8.00, with a $75,000 minimum limit on the total purchase price. We feel that this new BETA version will provide excellent stock buying opportunities. We are performing a free two year BETA test from March of 2010 to April of 2012. We are not trying to sell our services, but rather providing basic data for which you can form your own opinion and track our results.
