There is a lot of nonsense being thrown around regarding the port of Ensenada not being able to accommodate large PanaMax Bulk Carriers that CWRN is planning to use in order to ship one to two 75,000DWT shipments per month starting January, as stated here.
These pictures showing the current dredging of the port are provided by pesquero who chose to no longer post here, but is still sharing some of his excellent first-hand DD with us.
On this first picture, the long barge with the red crane (actually a Manitowoc 4600 Dragline) is where the Panamax Bulk Carriers will tie up and load
On this second picture, in the upper left hand corner you can see the Petreos/Amaya Curiel facility which is also being dredged and prepared for Panamax. You can just see their (3) 10,000 Ton Bulk Material barges tied to their dock. Supposedly, Bob will be signing to ship ore through that facility, and they will use their barges to do the first few shipments until their new dock is finished.
P.S. The images are geo-tagged, but those are only seen as you view the properties of the file. If someone is interested in verifying the GPS location of the images, PM me, and I will provide the original files.
This post is my personal opinion. I do not provide investment advice.
