All sole sourced means is that for a particular service/product the company is only using you. All this means is NASA had a job to get done they bid it out and JB won the bid. The only reason any company would not sole source every job is because sometimes there is too much work for one company to handle so they must use multiple sources.

To state this sole source stuff like it means something positive is incorrect.
