I signed up to work for Plant and Cyberkey in the months before he hatched this DHS scheme. I quit because I found Plant to be a pathological lier. He made up stories of prospects, agreements, checks and contacts to build himself up. None of them turned out to be true. When I found out that the 200,000 piece Lockheed-Martin contract he told a half-dozen people about was a fabrication, I told Plant to pound sand. Heaton was the one who confirmed the contract didn't exist for me (he was CFO) but he didn't have the brains to get out.

The bottom line is that this is not a great story for a movie because Plant had no apparent exit strategy or even huge pay day on the horizon that he was working towards. He was very content just playing the game to see how long it would last. Personally, I would have interpreted that cease & desist order as my cue to head to South America with the cash and diamonds. But Plant just didn't care. He loved being the 'big man' and being in charge, even if it was all a huge lie.
