the disappointment is a two way street. ACTC has stated they have a process to leave the "embryo in tact". This came about late 2005 and they filed the claims with the patent office shortly after. NIH was involved in 2006 as a possible "Alternative Method". If the claims are what ACTC has stated, why has nothing happened? That is the crux of this post.

Based on your rantings none of this matters. ACTC made a statement/claims and by golly they should get a "ton of funding". How can this possibly be a "great achievement and be well known" if the scientific community, NIH and patent office isn't buying into/accepting it after all these years? This next round of FED funding could change that, patent could be approved and the NIH could announce the backing of the ACTC Alternative Method. Until then...? I await the filings due this week and the all important IND filing later on. If something changes in a positive way with the "embryo in tact", that would be a major bonus.
