Far as I can tell, perception jumped the gun a little.

WNBD appears to have a relationship brewing with Lowes, starting with a "pilot" store in Ohio first. (Somebody probably gettin' magnifying glass out now to start frying me, oh well lol).

There has been no "offical" PR release on the wires as far as I can tell.

The website was updated with the Lowe's logo and there is not doubt discussions and likely future rollout at some time if things progress nicely. Somewhere I read about March, maybe that's when there will be a more formal announcment.

WNBD advertised in the Nascar souviner program that they have at all the races. Nice spread by the way. But other then that, no actual product has shown up at the race, nor is there any formal or informal sponsership of a team or driver (far as I can tell at this point). That could all change in the months to come as minority sponsers are added all the time for certain races or particular tracks.

To me, if this Lowe's is gonna be a big deal and get rolled out in the months to come; I believe an actual presence (in affordable manner) would have benefit to show a stronger tie to the series.

If product does all it says it does and teams/Nascar (especially the Hendrick team with Jimmie Johnson) aren't using it in the garage, etc. and we are in a national chain, and advertising in the souviner program, it will take longer to generate creditibility in my opinion. It makes me ask, why isn't this product used by Nascar teams? Do they not know about it? Have they tried it? It would be an all in one solution for them, eco-friendly and save them money in the long run (most likely right?)

People with bigger pockets and sponsership, may get upset if crews/teams would use WNBD products over theirs - so that would be a struggle in part. So I say the best bet is to go looking at some of the smaller teams or independents for penetration initially into the garage. Let them be the spokesman. Heck, give free product to all the teams, what would that cost for promotional purposes (especially after its formally launched to all the Lowes stores).
