neom2006, how accurate do you think ...

... this post (from another NEOM discussion forum) about info on the new NEOM website is?

I've excerpted and paraphrased pertinent comments, added a comment here and there, if I get some time later I'll look into it in more detail than I already have , has anyone already done this?

I'd be interested in what you think, neom2006.

the new web site was developed by and is copyrighted by Gavitec which is now being called Neomedia Europe AG.

If you look at the legal section of that new web site, over and over again throughout the entire document, it states Neomedia Europe.

http://neom.com/legal.php

Amazing how many times NeoMedia Europe AG is mentioned, vs NeoMedia Inc.

Are phrases like this disturbing?

"Applicable Law and Venue

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Venue shall be Aachen."

How about who can legally represent the company?

"Names of those entitled legally to represent the company
Member of the board: Dr. Christian Steinborn
Supervisory board: George O'Leary"

Neomedias operations center is now in Germany, not the USA.

"In early 2009, Gavitec AG – mobile digit became the European headquarters for NeoMedia and is now named NeoMedia Europe AG. Its main function is the front-end development for all NeoMedia products as well as being the centre for operational activities."

The CEO is overseas

Operations have been moved overseas

Is Atlanta now merely a sales office?

re: the case studies conducted. over 90 percent are Gavitec studies using scanners for coupons period, which is mostly hardware sales.

3 (?) case studies involving Neomedia USA and not one of them was using the NEOREADER or the back end platform. The last one listed was using QODE and the two before that were paperclick and the autopaint business.

No case studies involving NeoReader that the public is aware of except maybe Papa Johns? (that got them in legal trouble with Scanbuy.?)

Is it possible that NEOMEDIA EUROPE could be separated from the sales operation now existing in the US?

Operations and the CEO are outside the US jurisdiction, and now Neomedia Europe AG is a legitimate company in Germany, which if necessary could go it on its own.

The site seems to be geared more toward Neomedia Europe than Neomedia INC, the legal language on the site certainly emphasizes that.

Someone mentioned the new website possibly being "a sign".

I hope it's a sign of something good for common shareholders , vs total abandonment of same.
