Hi again Dean, I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume the Raiders aren't your 'team' (so to speak) :) . They do seem to invoke a love 'em/hate 'em response from most people. As I was sitting in front of my computer watching parts of a game, I just had a quick brainstorm of sorts that I thought I'd bounce off you (or anyone else who thinks this might be an appropriate application)...

What do you know about 3D model reconstruction...? It's sort of the holy grail in a lot of applied computer science. Ah, so imagine this, so the first version of the Dominion gives you real-time viewing via fluoroscopy--but what if you could construct a 3D model on the fly? Then you could compare that model to whatever the body part being imaged is supposed to look like and display that on the screen. You could difference the images and rapidly identify anomalies or problems the physician might look into or the surgeon might need to consider.

Depending on how much of an 'idea man' you are, I guess this thought may have occurred in your head years ago... :)
