As far as the licensing, I do not know the details. If they continue to pay licensing fees in perpetuity then I don't see the logic. Not only do they end up losing money but they are competing with their own branded products.
Even without knowing the details I get the feeling that the Hoover deal is working but Duracell is not. At least not yet.
Any increase in revs has been more than offset by the royalties. At least while paying rebates too. I wouldn't be surprised if the relationship with Duracell go's away.
I am very excited about the new product that they will be announcing soon but with the current pps representing a trailing p/e of less than 8 the new stuff is just icing on the cake to me.
