mack, you are probably right that they are pushing full throttle for a 100g device. Yes, the 100g would be proof of dominance. They had the 50g completed within 3 or 4 months. I could see them completing the 100g in the same time frame or less. Not so sure how difficult to scale from 50 to 100. I just remember Zelibor and Lebby at the ASM saying that once we have a 50g device the potential partners will be coming to us and not the other way around. A 100g device would be the icing on the cake or pure dominance. That would show required scalabity for at least the next decade - Moore's Law for photonics.
