Yes, I had very similar thoughts Gates ... you are exactly right. My takeaway from his last presentation (that I fully confess, I hadn't thought of before) was how Polymer Photonics (specifically Lightwave) could have benefits to all the current photonics endeavors as well as developing their stand alone products that will do much more than compete.

That blew me away to think, not only will we be making devices that change industries, but we can have a symbiotic effect as the polymer is spin coated on other attempts in photonics (silicon photonics, gallium arsenide, indium phosphate and dielectric photonics.)

The two keys that will enable Lightwave Logics impending avalanche of success are it's ability to work symbiotically with other existing solutions and it's scalability.

It is all much bigger than any of us expected... hide and watch as I used to hear as a kid.
