I thought this article from an opinion writer at Forbes expresses the difficulty in navigating the murky waters of the internet for a glimmer of truth especially when it comes to the political climate in the world these days. I use the "Truth or Fiction" site to do any fact checking, but I'm sure an opinion writer from "Mad Magazine", the "National Enquirer" or even the "NYT" or "WaPo" has already impugned their credibility. My homepage came by default with my Windows 10 browser with "MSM" as my news source. If I click on what looks like a credible article only to find it's click bait or it's header is so unbelievable I won't even fall for the bait or I go ahead and read it for the yuk. I drug my feet long enough before changing my homepage that now I'm hooked as it's a good source of humor to wake up to each day. Anyway, maybe there is a seed in this Forbes piece to continue the discussion with your daughter when she's home for Thanksgiving.
