It is naive to believe that in an instant, POOF, the IPR process is finished! Not so fast.
More likely is that as I stated, even in the event it is not favorable for the Patent Office you can rest assured that Congress will rewrite the language. Ultimately the IPR process would likely be revamped, not revoked.
LOL is right. Revamp. Rework. Re-write. Reconsider the process. IMO the IPR process does not go away as you believe it will in one fail swoop. Perhaps PIECES of the IPR process go away and are replaced with others? Perhaps IPR's will become less of an easy challenge for companies such as Apple? But I doubt they go away in an instant.
That is the problem with Voippal hinging upon this Oil States outcome. I'd be willing to bet that just like so many times before the shareholder is let down at what the results end up being. Pessimistic? Nah, realistic, YES.
