It's a nice entry point---provided you accept limited value in that purchase inasmuch as AMZA doesn't present much opportunity for capital appreciation. The holder is 100% reliant upon AM<ZA's effectiveness in terms of throwing off a nice distribution.

With energy in a funk and MLPs struggling for the most part, I prefer looking for great finds, any of which might well be part of AMZA's roster of held picks. This might be frightening to some but it definitely leaves the investor in a more nimble position...more likely to capture fire sale prices on unexpected drops in price/unit.

Buying today effectively puts a lock on your invested dollars and you'll not get any return until the next payday. That may not disturb some but it's a huge turnoff for me. I can't bring myself to place a portion of my estate into the hands of others who have no knowledge of me, my goals, concerns or anything else. That leaves me in charge.

I brung me to the dance and I'll live or die on that basis.
