Hi JMD NY,

You're learning quickly that Enrons/Worldcoms can exist in small sizes too.
Of course it wasn't tested, but confidence is King!
If you apply several equations relating NF vs. Tchannel in s GaAs FET, you arrive at his Noise Figures. In theory. Whether this academic excercize survives Liquid Helium in practice (as multi-CTE thermally contracting materials in a HybridMIC, its housing, & feedthrus) - is customer's problem ;) Furthermore, they don't test EVEN Liquid Nitrogen (-201*C) cryo-units, but to be fair -200*C was proven by Miteq & NIST many years ago. AmpliTech can't test s..., at cryo temps - b/c no equipment, although Nitro -201*C is proven anyway, Helium is NOT.
You know what else?
Military requires deep thermal cycling at least 24hours before final Test & Ship, -55*C to +125* or whatever. AmpliTech couldn't EVEN that for all the years, maybe now can who knows.

Anyway, back to 4*K:
My point is Liquid Helium exhibits fundamentally different phys. properties, it's in liquid phase but is a so-called "superfluid" (and can climb walls) & the way these Amps are made in a cheap "facility" is... you're on your own.
My roots in HS were in Physics/Chemistry, before majoring in Physical Electronics at Polytech U. of St.Petersburg & then (straight) Electronics engr. in NY. I know something about Helium, more than st**** PR releases for the masses.
I also suspect Amplitech's proximity to Armonk NY has more todo with IBM's pondering them, than actual performance. Plus, IBM is late. D-Wave and others are current & the future. You're betting on a lame horse if IBM is to compete in Quantum-Computing.
It's really about physical/travel proximity between Suffolk county & IBM's TJ Watson Research center in Yorktown Heights (that circular eerie building at the lake, where by the way I was in 1999 on a 10Gigabit Ethernet project). This is all a joke comparing to the West Coast, Massachusetts & China.

Add to it LowNoise Factory of Sweden (lownoisefactory.com), Japanese, D-Wave, etc. and AmpliTech... is of course better than all, especially since he got rid of all the bad people & engineers.
After all, a parking lot, one assembler & a wirebonder is all there's needed. Why design? You can plug loads of buzzwords (e.g. IoT, 5G, Quantum Computer, Remote-Controlled Pizza-Delivering drones) into PR's for naive investors, & keep on churning out 12-15 year old "innovation". Obsolete as wooden anvil.
Here's an idea - grow engineers in a testtube or like apples, then harvest-hire them while they're still gullible & cheap, doNOT provide tools, engineering software/ computers, lab space, starve them for years as a trial abd only in the final months shock them with amarket salary... or sort of junior level salary.
Makesure to conduct daily demoralizing convos, to teach that engineer how to do their own job, such as proposing 25-year old "solutions" and circuits from 1980's Again, doNOT order parts. Remember, bad cook blames the food.

OK, point is:
There're many MANY competitors with proper products, but what's happening in that Suffolk town for years is continuous plugging the ears of naive investors with Grandiose Plans of plain microwave amplifiers somehow extremely useful to read Brainwaves (0.5-42 Hertz, haha!), WiFi in-flight (Norden Millimeter must be too bad?, treating cancer, etc, etc., and now a new farce - QUANTUN COMPUTING : AmpliTech are getting married.

Lord, help us!
