Presidential doesn't adequately describe that speech. Anyone that thinks they can get it's message from sound bytes is making a big mistake. Three words describe it.
Substance, Substance, Substance.
Some highlights. I say "some" because I don't have time to list them all:
* He talked at length about Iran and Venezuela, and some about No. Korea and Cuba. The most salient part on each of those Countries is that he was talking to the people.. He didn't say "rise up!" but the message was clear.
He quoted John Adams.
"The Revolution is in the hearts and minds of The People"
How's that for a message?
* Throughout the speech he spoke of the Countries of the World being responsible to and for their own people. They should all see their Countries as their first responsibility.
* His message of the UN needing reform was woven in the speech.
* He very directly spoke of member nations that abuse women.
* He gave Global Climate Change the attention it deserves. NONE!!
* He called out Radical Islamic Terrorism. GOOD!!!
As I watched it I wondered at the wormy minds that would try and pick it apart. For starters they can criticize it because he didn't condemn the Klu Klux Klan
President Trump, keep on Making America Great Again, and giving it your best shot at improving the World.
