FYI on Scandium: Bloom Energy can afford to spend $6500 per kg and make their numbers work. The airline industry can afford about $4500kg and make it cost effective. The auto/truck industry can only afford $2000-$2500kg or it becomes to expensive for the price of their vehicles. I'm not sure about DoD? I do know that scandium alloys for rifles and other gear for the soldiers in the field can lighten their pack weight significantly!! I think some specialty very high tech applications can even afford $8000-$10,000 per kilogram. It will be interesting to see what "all in average pricing" per kg of scandium will be!!!! Niocorp has the possibility of getting much higher prices than the $3675 used in the FS!!!
