Very interesting as I've had my moments of glory days trading.

Loved the excitement, must admit. But when I remarried I decided it was for a good idea as it had me having to face potential disasters drawing in a life partner. So now I'm operating as a confirmed long but equaling the excitement level by commiting far more dollars to an individual investment vehicle.

It works well because of intense understanding of the fundamentals. Day traders do NOT study their vehicle's fundamentals. Their code is that of tracking numbers and measuring rules of mathematical probability leading towards hotspots of momentum. This, more than anything else, excites me in my investment activity.

But I'm a glutton for fundamentals, too. So I'm a more complicated investor. You are, too, for you mix and match fundamentals and TA.
