Yes, IPIX is just following normal babybio action.

AVXL IMO will just do what market forces dictate. It has 29% tute investment. I don't see the one holder with 3million shares and the 4 others with 1-1.5million shares seeking to hold it above $5.
In fact I have not actually experienced any institution buy an early stage bio just to support a price. One would have to read each institutions rules (if they have a $5 buy rule) to see if there is a price below that that requires liquidating shares.
They are just like us IMO. They decide to enter or exit based on investment criteria and fundamentals not some need/desire to hold a price level. Unless fund rules dictate then why not let it bottom and then buy more shares or sell if fundamentals change regardless of price. The posters who write about tutes holding/supporting certain price levels are full of BS IMO.

The fact it tagged key numbers 4.95 today and closed at 5.00 is significant. Sure looks likely for a 50day test of daily chart. 3rd day outside the lower bb which hasn't happened in a long time. 4ema is at 5.12 and lower bb at 5.06. I expect tomorrow sideways/little bit up to slip inside the lower bb or even more down. The bottom pole on todays candle doesn't show buying really jumping in. A/D and CMF not very happy right now. 10 days closing now under the 8ema so I don't expect price can push up above 5.21 and todays high was 5.19.

Those are my thoughts. Could be proven wrong tomorrow. LOL. But not without news or something to excite buying. All IMO only.
