This is just a guess but I'm thinking we should probably get word from above that guidance for the just-passed quarter will be coming out shortly. I'm expecting there will be a PR establishing the date sometime over the next week to two weeks.

What that means to me is that there will be forces out there determined to frighten us out of our holdings. Much is the same here as evident on the ALDW board. This is the case inasmuch as both stocks have been under fire and with all manner of ails affecting the energy sector, all is well on the home front, contrary to what many might suggest.

Through last week I was adding units here and am now up to 14,000. That might seem like a lot of money to some but make no mistake---it is to me as well! Just a few short years ago I though I might be making a mistake putting $10,000 into a single stock pick. I had far more picks in the stable, I should point out.

Over the past few years, however, I've shifted my position and am now convinced I'd rather take my chances on far fewer stocks while holding much larger positions. The risks are greater, of course, but that works both ways. The risk of becoming wealthier is as obvious to me as is the risk of losing. And while I might lose heavily in one pick, all I need is one other big position to pull my rear out of the fire.

Today I'm seeing ALDW ahead 30 cents and NGL by 13 cents (rounded). These are not huge advances, certainly. Yet they rarely move in synch with one another. Ordinarily, one move higher marginally while the other sputters, gaining slightly only to slough it off by session's end.

If I'm reading things correctly now, we're seeing a fresh canvas on the easel with major position manipulators going for the throat, knowing this is the last opportunity for sizable market shifts, given that guidance days are just around the corner.

As for NGL? I think the 39 cent payout will be preserved, I am positive no increase will be coming our way for the rest of the year unless something big happens. And I'm fine with this. AT the 39 cent rate of distribution per quarter, I'll receive nearly $5,500 per quarter. That's a damned fine bit of respect to receive from this company!

For now, expect games to be played with the idea that frightened unit holders will be more inclined to sell out cheap. So there are some out there determined to frighten us into selling.

Not me. And I hope not you, either.

Stay strong and inherit the wind. Just avoid the IBS crowd. lol
