I have a raspberry patch that produces less and less each year and needs to stretch for sun due to a "neighbor's" growing Norway maple.

I'm thinking of moving the raspberry patch to the north side of my house, which gets abundant sun in the spring into a summer harvest.

Blackberries seem to grow in partial shade and the current raspberry patch gets a late afternoon sun. Maybe I will plant blackberries in the current raspberry patch after I move the raspberry patch.

Does this sound like a good strategy?
