This, from the desk of Bernzinga:

Analysts at Barclays reinstated coverage on Alon USA Partners LP (NYSE: ALDW) with an Equal-Weight rating. The price target for Alon USA Partners is set to $12. Alon USA Partners shares closed at $10.49 on Monday.

The above comes to around 14% from the quoted $10.49. I'm seeing far more but that isn't so important.. better to focus on the consensus which is acknowledging that we're heading higher.\

Some will be upset at seeing our units under attack as is the case today. We need to recall that this is how the market works...it's not always pretty and, of course, it will not be factoring our investor-originated feelings/sentiments/emotions into account. My advice? Ignore it all!

We're not invested here for the sake of companionship or a consensus or anything other than for an opportunity to become enriched. Sure, it's great, knowing we're not alone in our belief that ALDW is going to do well. We make friends (online) and dream together. This process is no less effective at times when we find ALDW's valuation under attack.

There are many tricks played by larger institutions capable of rocking the stock's market. Some complain it's unfair practices at work. I don't agree as I figure each of us has a responsibility to understand how the game is played by others. It's not a style I personally have ever used:

I was approached by a friend some years ago with a proposition calling for each of us to collude by selling many thousands of shares in an energy company and then, we'd repurchase those shares and more at eviscerated prices brought lower because of uncertainty we would have created.

I refused to be part of that scheme, knowing I couldn't live with myself for having been part of a scheme designed to rip every investor off in style. Nowadays, however, machines manage such operations and they operate without sentiments, of course. But people design them!!!

The next few weeks are going to be rocky for us in ALDW. It's not a bad thing unless you let it get to you. That said, I've got buy orders in place to add ALDW at $9.50. I hope they expire later this month but I'll accept whatever happens. Meanwhile, I'll be holding my position firmly.
