Does any earlier application exist, not abandoned, that contains the necessary detailed specification to support the claims re breast cancer indication that you want to now assert? Your message reads as if you do not know the answer to that question, and I know I do not know the answer.

W/O an affirmative yes answer to the question above, continuity does not exist from any earlier application...there is no continuity, or ability to claim benefit from, an earlier application lacking a sufficient description in the specification to support the BC claims you wish to now assert.

I have no opinion on what ABBV could do...I am w/o informed knowledge on its research in breast cancer, what applications for patent that ABBV might have on file already, or wish to file, or wish were on file. Your question requires too much speculation on my part to enable any informed answer.
