In the first GeoInvestors Interview, Meaney mentioned IBM with the comment related to airline traffic and airline parts (Lockheed). The Patent has 4 references from IBM, three from 1999 and one from 2004, so perhaps IBM is paying royalties to MKRS for using their Patent. I like the connection. There maybe others?
