I certainly understand where you're coming from. And I respect you 100%.

My positions page indicates a gain of just under $68,000. Now, granted---I've got a whole lot of my investible cash on the line here in ALDW, but I'm unable to view DK with the same concern you and some others might. I'm insulated by my lower cost basis and because it's merely a token of gains from the past, I don't think of it as a permanent achievement of any sort. Rather, it's nothing more than an opportunity to spend that's conditional on my moving in that direction should I care to do so. Thus, it's become latitude or investing breadth assuring me there's room in which to operate because I've disassociated myself somewhat from history.

This is probably a good thing for me as the gains are not figured in to something meaningful. And what Delek does or does not do might swing to either camp and become a positive or a negative for us. I have no way to establish directional winds, probably because emotion will usually get in the way of open, honest reasoning.

One thing I know for dead sure is that I'm incredibly lucky to be able to do as I'm doing while recognizing the large amount of cash on the line. I live no differently than anyone else, to the best of my knowledge. We dine on cheap dinner plates, occasionally enjoy plane-Jane Lambrusco wine with a meal cooked at home, wear clothes appropriate for ranch-style living until they wear out and one hole doesn't qualify as being worn out. So this is hardly about money, I know that much well.

So, dear friend, recent trading action here has me thinking that we are basing with $11 as the logical bottom. Do we go much higher now or tomorrow or tomorrow's tomorrow? I say "Yes!" I base it on people getting used to and comfortable with the $11 support point. When they start to get the "next guidance itch," I see us moving appreciably higher. I reviewed the past three year payout terms just this morning and I'm very comfortable here in ALDW Land. I'll be adding more units on a dip towards $10 but it may not happen because we're moving closer to Q2 revelation time.

We shall see, right?
