LG, I doubt a deal is imminent now (next week).

Smart money would surely know now and the price would be reflecting that (as would volume) leading up to the shareholders meeting.
My thoughts are that, while WMI and LT are linked and that LT is the target (as AZ said long ago), nothing can be done until the probate case is completed and assets are revealed/released. Then things will happen quickly! I think the FDIC is in no hurry to do much until they have to (still run by the deep state of the previous administration).
But, for now investors are in a wait and see/accumulation mode.
