mr, I remain in awe at the significance of President Trump's visit to the birthplace of Islam.
So many things:
* The magnitude of the welcome he got. I have a pretty good grasp of World history I've lived through. No man has ever had the kind of welcome our President got, in Saudi Arabia.
The way he was greeted puts the lie to the BSMSM saying Trump's rhetoric toward Muslims would ruin our relationship with the Muslim World.
* A little story about how Israel has been treated in the Arab World. In SA, the UAE & Bahrain, every book or video is e examined by censors. In Abu Dhabi I was thumbing through a Guinness Book Of Records. There was a story about the man with the longest beard. His first name was crossed out with a black marker.
Not long afterwards a friend had brought a Guinness Book of Records from the UK. I looked at the beard story to see what the offence was. The man's first name was Israel. Airport censors missed it.
Aramco had a FM station that played music from the West. It was almost comical listening to how Saudi censors treated it. The Beatles "Let It Be" had this:
"When I find myself in time of trouble Mother bleep comes to me--"
The significance?
In his speech to the World's Muslim leaders our President actually said the word God. Not Allah as Obama would have done.
President Trump proudly had his Jewish daughter and son in law stranding beside him.
None of the women in his entourage had their heads covered. No offence has been noted.
* Air Force One flew non stop from Saudi Arabia to Israel. That may have been the first time any plane has done that.
With all the landmark things we've seen during President Trump's stay in Saudi Arabia, the BSMSM Ankle Biters will continue looking for fault.
