Pete807 and I have insisted that the fall from Grace experienced by NGL as it dropped from almost $25 to the current $16 or so has come at the cogs of high frequency trading machines/algorhythms. I say "cogs" as machines don't? have hands, at least not yet. lol

A week from tomorrow, on May 8th, NGL goes ex-D. Unitholders stand in line to receive 39¢ for each unit held prior to the stock going ex.

This works out to a very solid yield of 10%, certainly not shabby. Because 10% doesn't usually come from a $16 stock, we can expect units to rise this week.

A $19 unit paying the annual $1.56 NGL does is providing a yield of around 8.5%. It raises the question: Just how much might we reclaim this week?

I have no idea but I'm betting we will gain ground easily exceeding a full dollar. Even this would mean we are receiving an annual yield of 9.5% which is awfully rich as even hi-yield payers go.

So, let's keep our fingers crossed, ok?
