swg_trd, I was speaking from experience in 3 countries where I know for sure it is changing:

Brazil, China and Morocco-Tunesia-Algeria (Africa) belt.

Brazil develops a middle class quite fast.

China's new motto "become rich" creates a till recently non existent upper-class (that drives Ferrari's) that cannot function without a middle class. And if the Western concern was the impact of the middle class all wanting a fridge, air-co, etc then I guess they have the money for a cancer test. And how would they know they are the biggest Lung Cancer country if they didn't ALREADY TEST?

As for the mentioned Africa countries, they have people that worked in Europe and go back as 'locally wealthy'. Furthermore more and more work is outsourced there. In Belgium, the #1 country in grey scrip (the so call caviar of the North Sea) we hardly peal scrimp anymore. All goes to Marocco where specialised hyper hygienic factories peal them, weight them, pack them and store them till needed. Those employees are well paid and have job stability.

Does that mean all countries do well already? No. But if B&MGA can sponsor the malaria combat in Africa then I guess they can sponsor the Cancer combat too if a NEW MEANS (PPHM's cheap test) becomes available. And that is just one example, other NGO's will do the same and they have government funding back-up from Development Help Program's.

Is their a tad of idealism? Probably, but I don't need the 1 Trillion total cancer care market, Ill do with halve of that too.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals the Microsoft of Biotechnology! All In My Opinion. I am not advising anything, nor accusing anyone.
