Question for this board. Driving around today I was listening to a health talk radio station and the doctor host said marijuana/cannabis could be the next internet or cell phone boom and it could turn around and save the US economy. I compare it now to stevia like 10 years ago, but on a MUCH LARGER scale. Stevia seemed like a no brainer, yet western governments "conveniently" stalled off approval until big boys like Cargill could get big stevia plantations going in China and elsewhere.

I have to believe big pharma will be the eventually winner in this market in coming years as it is touted on many health sites for many reasons. And there must be many CEO's secretly chomping at the bit.

So, the question from the non pharma poster(me) is which big or moderate pharma companies are positioning themselves in this area. I believe many of the pennies will be history when the big boys put the hammer down and governments approve their products.
