Bull Dolphin, thanks for the kind words about my building practices. Funny thing, when I was a kid and my father did remodeling on our home he'd get me to help him and I hated it. Now, it's just the opposite. I sure wish I would have paid attention to what he was doing as he was a master craftsman. Sure would have saved me a lot of mistakes.

I bought the Simpson epoxy material at Home Depot. The hardware guy confirmed that it was great material for holding bolts and would work with a regular hand gun.

I appreciate your help and will let you know the results.
