I agree about the smaller strike zone.
They are doing it to try and get more balls put in play.
I believe that it will have an opposite effect.
You are trading the non action of a strikeout for the non action of a walk.
Terrible idea.
Umps are better at calling the high strike but still don't call the inside strike near as well as they should. JMHO
