Smokey: that's a great price for wild salmon, even if it's "dog" salmon.
Nutritional content definitely varies according to what they eat, with wild caught Alaskan being the best.
Most farm salmon come with a lot of bonus chemical ingredients to control fungi, parasites and bacterial infections.
Here on the central CA coast the cost is much higher...Ironic because i live near Salmon Creek where there are no more salmon. There used to be salmon runs up most every Pacific coastal creek and river.
