I pay around 11$ for 2 pound bag that is wild caught I believe. I go through that in a few days. However I look around and see other salmon going for like 9-10$ per pound.

I would think if AQB's salmon grew to market in half the time they would be half the price. People would be stupid not to buy it even if they knew it was genetically engineered since the nutritional content is no different.
