Yes, I believe that the concept of NNVC as antiviral trap is a good, valid, and very promising one. I also am speaking of the claims of initial efficacy of the drugs in animals, as well as low toxicity. I unfortunately have practically no knowledge of the challenges of production of the drugs, and have to rely on questionable sources to try to discover the reality there.

Now, there are some red flags with NNVC as have been pointed out here by many, and I'd say my confidence in NNVC is actually lower than my confidence in BLP. BLP is much more transparent in its claims and MUCH closer to its goal (a working product that can be sold), and Mills communicates clearly and truthfully at all times, as far as I can tell - this despite NNVC being a public company, and BLP private. No, TL, I have nothing invested in BLP, just following a fascinating story of science, public discourse, and epistemology. I do believe BLP will be a HUGE success, and yes I would like to invest when it IPOs. MASI will be making the most expensive of the components of the SunCell, the concentrating photovoltaic converters. I also think Mills' modeling software could be helpful for many medical researchers and drug developers.

I think the comparison of NNVC to BLP is an intersting one that is on-topic, for it tells of the difficulty in changing paradigms, both in convincing the skeptics who make fun of the changes/new ideas, but also in doing the difficult work required to produce something totally and somewhat radically new, which has never been done before. It can take many years to solve some of these challenges.
