Adding 2.5 % to your grocery bill will hurt...The Feds say inflation is less than 2% but groceries is around 12% I read a report the other day...And of course they do not count gas in the equations and that can run up you cost of living fast if you drive a lot..But the 2.5 will go on your Dr. bill, food bill, and all utilities... Also if you buy a new vehicle you will get that charge too...7510.00 extra on a 30K vehicle..So the small business guy will raise his prices because the big guys have too...Guess it would apply to real estate...No one mentioned it in the pro and con advertising...But the avg home here in Portland is over 300K so another 7500.00 added...They will probably try and hide the taxes in the price tho..
