'ven69', re: your AVXL post today.
IMO the issue is more the supreme court and interpretation of "freedom of speech" and the opportunity for the unscrupulous and media etc taking advantage. The freedom given to brokerages is an example of the misuse. If you think it is bad now, just wait until HC appoints 2-4 more justices in the next 4 years. Loss of freeedoms and increased taxes will accelerate as will executive orders at a rate not seen in America. The Fed. Reserve (private group with no oversight) is out of control as well. In my lifetime (68years) I have never witnessed a President and now candidates so divisive in pitting segments of american society toward each other.
What is ocurring in the markets is simply a result of the decay of society and family values.
There is no oversight of "big money".
Rape the public for 10billlion and fine them 1billion or a few hundred million....yeah that's a deterrent..lol
Wouldn't take much to eliminate offshore dark pools trading in the US markets, but it isn't done.
Banks and brokerages siphon off billions with derivitives, leverage of many varieties and then receive money from Jane and Joe public (through the gov.) to bail them out. Their profits go up and we get negative interest rates.

Why put this here? Because we have a window to pool ideas and work the system to increase our asset base and figure out how to possess and pass it.
The last 3 months of charts should be sufficient evidence for any TA guy/gal to see it in black and white if they didn't before.
Brokers are pawns of the system. We must figure out our own path.......Rant over.

Wish prosperity to everyone here. I am still learning much from the board that is useful to create and tweak a personal plan.
Thanks Tom for the board and those who contribute thoughts, ideas and strategies.
