I just saw on IP law 360 that Apple was ordered to pay over $ 300 million dollars to Virnetx for infringement of their FaceTime technology.. A win for the little guy. Goes to show you that buying patents and Licensing them is a much better way to go then infringing on them trying to get away with it and then having to defend yourself with expensive legal fees and eventually a jury awarded payout like apple is going through.. licensing patents will more than offset the cost of buying them in the first place especially foundational patents for Technologies that we all use
