UPLD is in a very, very legal tech friendly community in Austin too. Austin tech scene is blowing up and texans don't mess around. Having all of these patents, acquiring more, knowing many or all of the infringers is a case(s) i'm sure have been building up over the years. Now, with HIPP having more resources and assets at their disposal with UPLD, I wouldn't be surprised to see lawsuits start flying, or a BIG boy company with plenty of cash / stock assets to come in and swoop them up for a premium, and then have a massive competitive advantage in the mobile + ad tech space like no other.
