In short, I think we represent a force capable of influencing parts of the market for just about any stock, save for the very largest where our miniscule input won't stand a chance of doing it.
Over the years I've been approached by a few market makers operating without a brokerage---hoping to get me to work with them in an effort to control part of a stock's market. I've refused to engage in this as I don't need it on my conscience. Also, I'm pleased enough with my results and don't need to rig things and hurt others in the process. Still, someone with a few hundred thousand $ could, conceivably, gain leverage to produce profits. It happens, I'm sure. But it doesn't have to happen because of us.
Besides, I enjoy sleeping without worrying. lol
