First, tell us the last time you used spray foam insulation or used polyurethane in your home. My guess is that you probably haven't. Most people here don't have many occasions to get anything other than a gallon or two of latex paint.

So, when it does come to using polyurethane, typically it will be done by a professional. Now consider that you as a business owner or homeowner will not be coming into contact with the chemicals during installation. The off gassing after the fact is going to be under current regulations. So, what do you as a business owner do? You go for the cheapest option that will work. It happens time and time again. Someone in an office far away from the situation looks at the bottom line on a piece of paper and makes a decision. I can cut a corner and come in under budget.

For you to act like that is so inconceivable either speaks to your naivety or to you clinging to your position no matter what the facts are.
