I heard somewhere it takes on average 7 days for polyurethanes to cure. Our's takes a day. As a homeowner would you like to find accommodations for your family for a week or a day?

To answer your question I did a three car garage with polyurethane several years ago. Next spring I plan to do my current garage with green poly. You're right in the fact that the average homeowner won't use a lot of polyurethane or spray foam insulation. But that doesn't change the point I was making.

My point was that as an "individual" most would chose a healthy alternative to something toxic. I used the term "individual" because I agree that most "big business" looks at the bottom line. However, being in construction myself I feel that we are starting to see a change in that thinking when it comes to the safety of products. I'm not saying this will change over night, but it will happen. 10 years ago nobody ever heard of the term "going green" or "LEED accredited" buildings. Now it's practically a standard.

Combine the safety of HCTI's green poly, zero fumes, labor savings, and quick cure time and hopefully that's a recipe for success. A ban on isocyanates would be icing on the cake.
