This statement from the opening section of the STAT article is false:

…no new [migraine] drugs have been developed since the early 1990s.

Actually, the FDA approved Botox for migraine in 2010 (#msg-55606649).

Inasmuch as Botox’s efficacy in migraine may be mediated by CGRP, it’s curious that the STAT article did not give Botox even a passing mention.

the foremost piece of B.S. ever promulgated
in any area of human knowledge!”
