It's anger over things like that which have begotten Trump. I'm not a Trump fan but I am a very angry white guy with a PhD who is tired of democrats bankrupting everybody that tries to make an honest living.

Someone has to pay for large government defense spending, wars, etc. and it was Republican presidents that started those wars and the massive increase in deficits.

Looking at the current election and it's estimated that Trump's current economic plan would add approximately $5+ trillion to the current national debt while Hillary's plan is roughly deficit neutral. Bill Clinton and Obama both drastically cut deficits from the time they entered office to the time they left while the Bushes did the exact opposite. We need fiscal discipline by all parties, we need to reduce defensive spending and we need to reinvest capital to improve our current infrastructure/schools, etc.. Lowering taxes from today's already historically low rates won't drive enough economic growth to increase tax receipts and thus we should be thankful to enjoy the current tax rates vs. previous rates and much higher rates in other parts of the world.
