I thought the A/S was dropped recently whereas the O/S is almost equal to it.

Yes, they did do that. On 25 August, they lowered the a/s from 7.5 billion to 163 million. An odd number to choose.

That was an unusual move, but I suppose they think it makes them look "serious". My guess is that they'll be raising the a/s again within six months; after all, it's not hard to do.
