Imagine the following scenario...You have suddenly (following the conversion) an equal number of shares and shorts.. and you decide to extricate yourself from the position. If you are a fund manager (regardless of how lazy you are) You are not going to turn these over to your broker to dump. You need to think this through and figure out what's the best way to do this..

You're in a conundrum because if you sell first you are going to be trading against yourself as far as your long position, but you will be helping yourself in your short position, by dropping the price..Still this seems to be the route most will take figuring there are more longs than shorts. So I see an early sell off and followed by a big move up...
